Course location/delivery

Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota campuses. Also various Bay Area Museums, including the Tampa Museum of Art. The Salvador Dali Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts (St. Petersburg) and the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art (Sarasota).

Brief Description

The Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies will assist in the preparation or further knowledge of individuals interested in the various facets of the operation of museums of all descriptions. These include administration, management, curatorial work, exhibition design and installation, education and history.

Credit toward graduate degree

Up to 12 hours of certificate course credits may be applied to a graduate degree with departmental approval

Standardized tests

International students must submit a TOEFL score when English is not the native language. A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test or 79 on the web-based test is required.

Admission requirements

Students must possess a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
